ROLE: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO

LOCATION: Based at our London Bridge Office (2 days Office and 2 days worked remotely)

HOURS: 28 hours per week

SALARY: £25,116 – £28,392 fte – depending on experience.

 JOB DESCRIPTION:  We are looking for an enthusiast and experienced Executive Assistant to provide a comprehensive organisational and administrative support for the CEO. Someone who thrives in a busy and varying role, who is calm under pressure, with a strong ability to prioritise the CEO’s workload whilst managing and completing multiple tasks to deadlines. To do this role effectively you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an executive or administration assistant in the past. This role also incorporates supporting the CEO in the development of Streetlight UK’s communications and I.T.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

  • As an Executive Assistant, you will provide extensive administrative support to the CEO in the leadership and management of the organisation and overall strategic objectives of Streetlight UK.
  • You will be the first point of contact for the CEO, dealing with phone calls, emails, diary organisation and other correspondence. You will further oversee the production and development of Streetlight UK’s communication platforms – including the newsletters, publicity materials, social media and the website development and content.
  • Whilst working closely to the CEO, you will also work closely with the Board of Trustees through regular correspondence. Also, you will organise meetings for the CEO and Board of Trustees and prepare briefing materials for the CEO. In addition, you will coordinate departmental reports and documentation for the Board of Trustees meeting and other meetings with outside partners.
  • You will represent the organisation at specified events and networks locally and participate in Streetlight UK’s annual fundraising and awareness campaigns.

GENUINE OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT (GOR)    

  • Due to the history, context and nature of this role, this post is restricted to female applicants only under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

PENSION: 3% Employer Contribution, 5% Employee Contribution

CONTRACT: 12 –month contract, with potential of extension subject to funding
